  • I often walk in Orleans and I cross this square while admiring the beautiful buildings, the magnificent statue of Joan of Arc, and I also appreciate lunch on the terrace of the Chancery a carousel enchants our grandchildren.

  • pretty cobbled square, water jets adorn the place as well as the carousel. The terraces overlooking the square to enjoy as well as the market. However, it is too bad that the place, Central and distributing other streets, is not enough "dynamic" especially in the evening and weekend.

  • The place du Martroi in summer completely redo last year. She is almost 2 ha. Its renovation is a success. The statue of Joan of arc mounted his steed gives all its splendour at this place. At the foot of the statue is access to visit the underside of Orleans. (See with the tourist office) And it's sunny terraces of the cafés and restaurants are crowded. Children play with water jets after doing a tour of the carousel. The square is the center of Orléans. It gives access to the street of the Republic, St Joan of arc, Royal Street and place De Gaulle. The tram passes through. The only negative is the night she is practically deserted, abandoned at a few night owls... For nightlife, this is direction the old orleans and Rosary square and the street of Burgundy.
