  • We visited the Park in low season, and only 2 species of animals have not been visible. The Park is big, clean, fun, Nice. We were closer to the "common" animals: goats, hens, rabbits, Peacock, pig of India... Other animals are well visible and binoculars we have been loaned to the entry for our 7 year old son. We enjoyed awakening to biodiversity as well as different nest boxes who walk the walk.

  • I am a lover of nature and at age 36, I have visited many zoos, in having gone many times at the zoo of Palmyre near Royan. But every time, I come out with a feeling that is shared between the joy of even all this diversity / the beauty of terrestrial wildlife and guilt to tell me that I am contributing to a system that locks the animals to become beasts of fair, feeding the consumerist voyeurism of our time... In the case of the "Zoodyssée", I was pleasantly surprised the emphasis placed on the conditions of confinement of animals and presented species: we are here in not too distant animals of their natural habitat (already it shocks me less...) and all they have for a majority (unfortunately not yet for everyone!) enclosure and living spaces more reasonable than most zoos in France and Navarre... For those looking for a spectacular, sensational, some never seen, thousands of species, go your way and go to Touareg. But for all those who want to take the time to contemplate the magnificent fauna of our European area, in a pleasantly shaded space, rush you to visit this zoo! We came with my wife and 3 young kids (2, 4 and 6 years old) and we feasted for more than 3 hours, which is for the decent price, very good value. Of all ways, to live like this park has a cost and can not do "extras" visits by not paying a dime, then the fees notice I don't find them often not very objective... It's always the same: everyone wants to do 1 full day of visit in an exceptional place for 5 euros per adult and free for children under 12! Same for the restoration, when you come into a place like this, is not to marvel at his plate and thus judge of a park to the quality of its restaurant! For our part, we chose the option "picnic" because he had nice areas in the Park and that allowed us to save a little on the day. We even allowed a little extra by offering ice cream and a good beer at the restaurant/snack, which had a wide choice of ice, in a very nice setting... For the tour, we did as expected any part feet, with an interesting nearby animals, animals more or less known to children and parents. Then we opted for the visit of the "great Park" carriage and we have not regretted because from the top of our base, we could very well see all animals and especially with our young kids, we avoided the "Daddy I'm tired, it's when you start...". More Coachman super nice and very very smart we commented the entire route, the history and anecdotes of each animal, habits, characteristics, etc... WHAT HAPPINESS! It is true that we do not see all the animals but what fun these spaces, wonderful to see nearly all the wild animals that we get to meet a few times in the year near our habitats (wild boars, deer, deer, coypu, foxes, etc...) and especially to learn a little more about them. Besides, the Park at the beginning of course, plenty of islands are available on to inquire, to learn, to learn, to discover, to deepen the life of our dear little beasts. IF YOU LOVE LIFE, NATURE, IF YOU RESPECT WHAT SURROUNDS YOU AND SUMMERS ANIMES BY SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND SOBRIETY HAPPY = THIS PARK IS FOR YOU!

  • Very pleasant to do as a family or as a couple walk. The majority of the course is shaded, which is very pleasant. The animals have plenty of space, but suddenly we have sometimes a little trouble seeing them. Small flat on the toilet at the back of the Park because there is no lighting on the inside. Friendly and possibility to dine on-site.

  • The walk is nice but does not justify the exorbitant price of admission... Few visible animals otherwise the chickens and donkeys... Pay 17 euros 50 to wander in the forest leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
