  • Well worth a gentle stroll through these gardens. Close to centre and other sights. A steep but pleasant climb to the Tour Magne.  more »
  • We walked through the gardens to get to the Tour Magne. There is no set path to the top, about 5 different ways, all on an incline, but steps or slopes. Definitely worth doing even in you don’t go.....  more »

  • Beautiful park that has its roots in Roman times although much of it has been rebuilt since then. There are streams and statues. Access to an ancient Roman temple (Diana). For kids you can even do a pony ride at a reasonable cost. When in Nîmes this is a place you should visit. It is within walking distance of other major sites.
  • Popular central park with water, statuary and views. Worth the walk to the top to visit Magne Tower which you can climb for €6. At the lower end of the garden is the temple of Diana which is free. Only toilets are in cafe near the temple but cafe is excellent.
  • Extremely nice garden with Cygnus. Ducks... And playground for kids... Very very nice... Great to take a few hours off from a long day
  • Beautiful park with statues of Roman Gods and Goddesses. Best to visit in the evening when it is illuminated. Lovely restaurant/café in the park. It is also possible to access the temple from the park.
  • A pleasant park. Water from the Gallic sacred spring, terraced gardens and classical statuary and fountains. Games of boules in progress under the plane trees outside the entrance gates
