  • It is a pity that this building is not maintained and not valued, as is not the case in the rest of the city... He deserves a different destiny. ..

  • It's the remnant of the arrival point of the water from the fountain of Eure in Uzès and the Pont du Gard-through. It is good and not very well maintained. It is well damage, insofar as it is one of the only buildings of this type still visible.

  • Certainly this modest Castellum Divisarium, point-culmination of water carried through the garrigue Nîmes to the town where the Romans had a consequent needs to supply the baths, fountains,... a lot less magnificence as the fountain of Trevis in Rome (through addition of the Renaissance) but worth it to hear and appreciate the qualities of the planners of the 1st century engineers and let his imagination wander in restoring the pipes through the course of streets and squares of the Roman city.

  • If you realize that this is where all the water that flowed over Pont du Gard entered Roman Nimes, this is interesting. However there isn't much left.
  • Well highlighted even at night, a place to know.

  • Free. Visualization of the arrival of water on Nîmes via pont du Gard. Simple, but to see to measure Roman work.
