  • This is a very rare remnant of the Roman world, marking the point of arrival in Nimes of the 50km aqueduct built between 40 -60 AD, bringing water from the Eure Spring near Uzes. From the circular tan...  more »
  • It is hard to see where. Because no one knew local people, some how Guide photo show, asked, very famous in local is not for everything. Then the water came from the Pont du Gard that world heritage is somehow reached the final point was a lonely place or something.

  • The water passed through the Pont du Gard reaches here eventually. Height of the Romans was going to tap this place think had piped water in the top of the Hill was visible right from the bridge by bus headed Nimes in the imagination and engineering was surprised all over again. I think it will change perspectives and reach the ruins while thinking about such a thing. Hopefully knowing nothing, old, small, crumbling water distribution center is a mark. Is is worth it alone.

  • If you realize that this is where all the water that flowed over Pont du Gard entered Roman Nimes, this is interesting. However there isn't much left.
  • Well highlighted even at night, a place to know.

  • Free. Visualization of the arrival of water on Nîmes via pont du Gard. Simple, but to see to measure Roman work.
