  • Dating from the end of the XI century, the Abbey has preserved intact its austere cloister opening a skylight to the Bell Tower and an unfortunately revised Chapter Hall. In the introduction to the visit of numerous and valuable information by interactive computer panels, including on the historical context, the monastic life, swamps, etc. A site that deserves a long stop

  • I had already visited this beautiful Abbey and its cloister of the XI etXII Rd S, a few years ago. Everything has been renovated with taste, there is a small museum with copy of old musical instruments, everything is beautifully presented. There's a great scenography telling the history of this Royal Abbey in the empire House which is adjacent to the cloister. modern tools with virtual tour. just like know the vendéens (puy du fou...) to make excellent tour for 6 e, do not hesitate.

  • Church and beautifully renovated Abbey. A resolutely stunning visit embellished with modern concepts; light floor, room of the instruments 'living' to remake live the time of monastic life by following the many stops to listen to comments the cloister is worth the look around these colonnades and his ambulatory. A passage by the House of Eleanor surprising, at the entrance a mirror or a monk en3D emerges to greet us, and then the TV screens to explain daily life in every parts of the Abbey. To complete the visit, a trip to the Garden: discovery of many forgotten vegetables. that's a good principle of ancient and modern ally without altering times.

  • The twisted Church and the Royal Abbey are beautiful. Pretty gardens and a beautiful reconstruction of 3d in the home of Eleanor. Nice show with guided tour

  • One travels teaching within the walls of the Abbey reveals everything you need to know about the region, very well explained! interactive terminals, audio triggering as your visit, the discovery of musical instruments, the dormitory, even an interactive game that immerses you in the time of Abbots (in my opinion with an impressive budget). Congratulations in any case.
