  • We visited the gallery last August as part of the scheme with Musee Matisse and MAMAC so entry was effectively free. We were introduced to the work of Martin Parr with an excellent exhibition of his w...  more »
  • Building absolutely privileged - and so well adapted to all these "excellent" Photos expos at which I was able to - disappointment, because I understand that this theatre of photography would have another destination - more than cad photo expo but go back to his original destination... Theatre... Finally school of Theatre...

  • A visit to the theatre of photography is a ritual during my visits to Nice exposure Lartigue is a success, of course some great photos but also a course on almost a century of the history of the photo and icing on the cake a film allows a dive in a life of happy idle in this small theater in which it felt so good. But this visit was not like the others, because it was the last in this place, which was to close two days later. I would stay there again and my sadness is great that will give the new site? mystery...

  • I went to see the "Jacques Henri Lartigue, le siècle en positif" exhibition and i absolutely loved it. The exhibition itself is really lovely, a nice exploration of bourgeois life from the early 900's to 1980, all see thought a very delicate eye. The Museum itself is a gorgeous place and interior decoré is really charming. The staff is super friendly and very helpful: a monsieur paced the rooms regaling visitors with tidbits about the exhibition, he was so in love with his work that you couldn't help but be transfixed by his words.
  • Mediocre work, small collection.
  • A must for anyone interested in photography as an art. Has different exhibitions at different times , the one I saw was women, muses and models.
  • But one big photo exhibition is just the right place to play. Last year and this year, but last year's Martin Parr display is really good. Photography is also it's a go. Students for free!
