  • It houses a small park that has interest for the Roman archaeological site. See for the arenas.

  • If you have been to Roman ruins in Italy, this is fun to see and pass by, but don't waste your time. It is relatively small and not as grand as other roman ruins sites along the coast.
  • Take a walk in these rural and bucolic places! They remain there superbly to remind us that Cimiez was formerly administered by Rome! Once you have completed your ballad, grace avoid the archaeological museum which is a revolting nullity for the passionate Latinists we are... Everything here is sad, abstruse. Could we remind visitors that our civilization flourished in such places? There is no doubt that: "Cemenelum museum delenda is..." This pastiche of the formula of Cato is used here to mean the low self-esteem that we carry this structure become woefully obsolete.

  • Well worth a trip up to the park, particularly if there is a local fete on. Rows of ancient Olive trees to picnic under, the Matisse museum to explore as well as the Cathedral and ancient ruins. A bit out of town but worth taking a bus to. Too far to walk though particularly for the older, unfit or short of time, as its deceptively far and a long steady-gradient climb up Blvd de Cimiez.
  • Loved the peaceful atmosphere, the pétanque players, the old-fashioned carousel and the busts of some of the greatest jazz players of yesteryear.
  • Nice park and some views towards the city. Not much to do there though, as the museum seemed pointless.
  • Definitely a good place to visit. The church is beautiful!
  • Nice park full of olive trees!
