  • It is at this address since the end of 2016. This place is located between the Saleya course and the prefecture. It is accessible to people in wheelchairs except the mezzanine. It is clear functional and a Helmut Newton exhibition until May 28, 2017. Admission is €10 (ticket valid on all municipal museums) and free with the Pass card of museums for Niçois of Nice. Free card. Very nice pictures of Helmut Newton especially focused on women, mainly in black and white. At 10 meters the Gallery of the Museum of photography (the schedule) or a beautiful exhibition of photos of Nice to the beautiful time (between 1865 and 1914) and cameras "outdated" quite old, although I've known some as many people as the instamatic, polaroid, etc.; and others from the beginning of the twentieth or even end of the nineteenth century. The Museum is very poorly indicated like many cultural institutions in Nice which is located in the old town. Visit recommended when you are in the old NICVE

  • It is not very big, and it is an old theater, the exhibitions are of very high standard, sorry to hear the plans about closing, because the building is so nice, and rather special  more »

  • I went to see the "Jacques Henri Lartigue, le siècle en positif" exhibition and i absolutely loved it. The exhibition itself is really lovely, a nice exploration of bourgeois life from the early 900's to 1980, all see thought a very delicate eye. The Museum itself is a gorgeous place and interior decoré is really charming. The staff is super friendly and very helpful: a monsieur paced the rooms regaling visitors with tidbits about the exhibition, he was so in love with his work that you couldn't help but be transfixed by his words.
  • A must for anyone interested in photography as an art. Has different exhibitions at different times , the one I saw was women, muses and models.
  • Mediocre work, small collection.
  • Worth it
  • I liked the location of the past... always interesting exhibitions, however. Brief aside: I don't know what's happening with your security and hospitality staff but that is it is noisy!
