This museum was way bigger than I anticipated, I highly suggest it and also, go to the top floor and you'll get a panoramic view of Nice, it's quite gorgeous; there is also a mini garden on the roof, ... read more »
Tässä museossa kannattaa käydä. Löytyy monipuolista modernia taidetta: tilataidetta, maalauksia, valokuvia, jne. Kokoelmat ovat suht hyvin omaksuttavissa, mikä ei aina koske modernia taidetta. You can find a varied modern art: art, paintings, photographs, etc. The collections are pretty well in the pursuit, which does not always apply to modern art. The time it takes less than an hour and you should go from the top down. The building itself is also interesting. Please visit also the rooftop terrace, where you can stroll around and look at the city scenery in every direction.show original
It takes almost 3 hours to enjoy every corner. It is exiting, Great view of the whole city from roof top.
Visited today May 25, 2016. Loved the inside and the ART, Nikki de Paule, Arman, there is a lot to see and take in, think it would have been even better when the new exhibit is set up. The Roof has some incredible views of Nice. We wanted to visit the park at the back but all the doors were locked, we were guided to walk around the building along side the library to the only entrance of the park, all other entrances were locked. We were so saddened by the outside of the building, the windows in the Mamac were very dirty as were the Library windows, all around there are weeds, rubbish, general stink of pee and an air that no one cares. The actual Park was very peaceful with beautiful gardens, but could do with a tidy up too.
very nice museum, students can get there for free. it is worth looking and i enjoyed a good time.

Surprisingly hot, no HVAC. Klein works were a highlight of the museum's modest collection. Visit the rooftop garden.
Firstly, I think modern art is rubbish. However the building is very interesting. The visit was worth it for me because it was sunny and you can walk outside all round the roof - this is what makes the visit worthwhile.
Good museum with well curated exibithion, great view from the rootproof. For student entrance is free
