  • Took a cab to get to the museum. Arrived 1215 to be met by a grumpy old goat of a receptionist. She directed me and my wife to leave our bags outside of the building on the floor explaining it was for...  more »
  • We are run by nice old City Museum (always along the promenade, 3 to 4 km). The paintings and sculptures are really beautiful to look at, you can explore it. The rear glass paintings of Croatian artists were a special new discovery for me. Unfortunately the beautiful mood however is amazing one of the "Dragon" at the box office. We arrived about 11:30 at the Museum and showed our 7-day museum pass. After the Lady had devalued our passports, she announced that they will close at 12:30 for an hour (of which nothing is on the Web page, as other users here). That is not so great, but then we would come back just in the afternoon, we answered. To the Lady: no, she would not let, because with the museum pass, we are likely to enter the Museum only once. Since words fail one! And it was one more thing: when I wanted to buy a postcard and not had the money, she just shrugged his shoulders and meant to me that she would now open not their cash for me to look for change. Too bad for the works of art and its artists. You don't deserve really this entirely misplaced staff.

  • The difference is required between folk art and outsider art. But this isn't a problem, a large part of this museum displays of works really naïve international, which is rare in France and it is a must see. A very nice villa, but who deserves a little makeover, welcomes this beautiful collection. The beautiful park animated by the presence of many sculptures is very nice and deserves that attention. Access to the Museum is closed (plan vigipirate understandable, no locker room), ring and the toilets are almost unusable (glued urinals?) The staff is kind, friendly and smiling like a lot of Nice and Nice. Remember to take the pass-museums map of Nice, 20 euros to 13 museums in the city.

  • A bit off the beaten track but definitely worth the time. SOme beautiful art in a lovely old home. Uncrowded and delightful. Go there!
  • It's a museum, very interesting.
  • A museum that all native - committed art who was always curious about this form of art, should drop by quiet times. There are also relaxing atmosphere with masterpieces of that direction and a water dispenser.

  • More remote and not too hard to find. Inside the exhibition more interesting. To day I have some French teachers lead children to visit.

  • A visit to discover this style so little represented in any other Museum. The Museum is relatively small.
