  • This museum is well too little known in Nice! The collections go back time in Nice and to know more about the history of our city. The ruins are in good state and beautiful to see! Fun activities for children are implemented and the Museum organizes a lot of activities for adults! Don't miss out on this little cheerful!

  • Good complement to a visit to an archaeological site located just beside since number of objects found in the excavations are on display.

  • A charming space, as well as have objects and sculptures in an enclosed area and reserved, also has the external area with several ruins. I loved it!

  • Really nice little museum. The exhibits inside don't have any english translations but still nice to see. There are English tour books as you go outside to the ruins which are themselves really interesting to see! (Great price at €10 entry for the day ticket which gives access to all the museum in the city so cheaper the more you do!)
  • We had an excellent experience here - it's a small, local museum but the ruins are interesting, well documented (English notes are near the door as you go out to tour the site) and in our case we had a really fantastic, child friendly, experience with the temporary exhibition on the lower floor. The permanent exhibition is small, but as an an initial introduction to Roman ruins; as it was for us; well executed and relatable for our children. Not the Paris or London museum of natural history but great for what it is.
  • Excellent and well documented ruins with a museum offering a display of various every day life objects, tomb stones and life style information from Cemelenum. A must see!
  • A must visit for archaeology buffs!
  • If you're English, it's all in French with no English guides. It's very small, and not too interesting. However i out back, there's the old ruins and this rescues the visit.
