  • Nice to have a panoramic view of the city, to enjoy a coffee in the Sun, make the children play or even a picnic

  • Take the elevator up from the old town and enjoy the view and the promenade at Nice and easily accessible trails. Definitely worth the time. A couple of very simple cafes can be found up there for refreshments. Don't expect peace and quiet; schools in Nice seems to have the little oasis that standing destination for outdoor days so the noise level can be high. Conversely, there are opportunities for families to let the little ones run off some energy.

  • Very much worth coming here for the view. The way we went was up a lot of worn-down stairs, accessible just across the street from the promenade. I don't know how people with mobility difficulties would be able to get up there, but I recall another overlook nearby that was accessible from a road going through the park. It would be a long way to get there, uphill, and I think I remember having to step up onto the overlook's platform, but might make a trip to see the view here possible for some people who otherwise can't handle stairs. At sunset a police car drove up and kicked everyone out.
  • great view and wonderful park. There is a hidden paradise very close to the city life. Silent and peaceful.
  • Amazing view of Nice with a beautiful waterfall to check out. Steps are not bad unless you normally require assistance for walking or are in a wheelchair. If you only go to one place other than the beach in Nice, make it here!
  • Outstanding views with a nice sea breeze. Numerous steps to the top provide some exercise. There is a nice waterfall as well. Signage alerts you to the history of the buildings. Snack and souvenir shops are present. A must see!
  • This is the best way to oversee Nice. You can come up via the road from both the Old Nice side or Port side, or you can scale the steps up the beach side by the start of the Promenade du Anglaise. There's a cafe and souvenir shop at the summit.
