This church is nice to visit. It has the Russian style from outside, it also has beautiful color. You cannot take a photo inside of the church. It is a bit far from the city center. If you have a lot.... more »

Very beautiful. Women wearing shorts grab a sheet to drape around your legs to meet dress code policy. No speaking or photographs inside the church either. We were able to snap one interior photo from behind a pillar. Highly recommend the trip out to see it. Free entry.

We walked from the coast. Great way to walk through various parts of Nice. The neighbourhood where it’s located isn’t the most appealing to the eyes however it was worth it. The exterior is very photogenic. Woman cannot be uncovered however they do supply scarfs to cover up properly.

Very beautiful church. I went on a Sunday and there was a liturgy and the choir was divine. I strongly recommend paying a visit to that place especially on a Sunday morning.

The church was named after St. Nicholas Alexandrovich who died in Nice. Built in 1912 due to the pleasant climate by the Emperor of Russia, Nicholas II. For years, there were disputes about jurisdiction and ownership not until 2011. Now, it has a lot of visitors and one of the tourist spots in Nice, France. You can come and get a glimpse of how beautiful the church was designed in and out of it.
-
Beautiful cathedral with magnificent spires in the centre of the city - well worth a quick visit. The cathedral has lovely artwork inside and I would recommend making a small donation towards the upkeep of this wonderful building. There is also a small cafe and toilets on site.
