Basilica of St. Paul Serge (Basilique St-Paul-Serge) is a collegiate church that was constructed over the burial site of Paul, the first bishop of the area. The site is also at the border of an extensive early Christian necropolis and location of a former monastery. One of the most interesting surviving features you will find here is a paleochristian crypt with a mosaic floor and sarcophagi. Inside the Basilica, you will find impressive columns, ornate stonework, decorative mosaics, stained glass, and statuary.   • a Basilica which is unfinished and Viollet the Duke has not finished to restore. A very beautiful cloister but in rehabilitation, a room of the Treasury, chapels with very beautiful paintings, impressionnâtes organs and the organ regularly concerts. The highest in Europe...

  • Unexpected visit of this Basilica, whose home State is a little "faded". The architecture is interesting. But the high point of this - free - visit has without a doubt been the discovery of the crypt and his treasure archaeological, with explanations of a passionate guide.
