Constructed to be a fortress and private residence for the archbishop, the palace saw building in the 12th, 13th, and 14th centuries. Today the apartments house three museums. In the Musée Archéologique you can see Bronze Age tools, prehistoric artifacts, 14th-century frescoes, and Greco-Roman items. The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire showcases a Roman mosaic floor, portraits, sculpture, enamels, and antique porcelain.   • A lot of things to see. Already the building is worth the glance from the outside. Then inside is clean, well maintained and pleasant to visit. Worth the trip!

  • The courtyard and a couple of he rooms of this palace are open. It only cost1 Euro to go in and is worth taking a look aroung  more »
  • The Cathedral of Narbonne is a must see. If you can visit the Treasury and its acoustic room, do so.

  • After visiting the palace you experience emotions that are difficult to describe in words

  • The current city and old town hall is the Archbishop's Palace. The courtyard which has is very interesting since you can see the different extensions and buildings over time. The terrace that has with Bank giant is very cool and worth worth climb to the top of pa tower to see the views of Narbonne
