Create an itinerary including Hotel de Ville
Even if you're in the city on a short visit, make sure to stop by Place Stanislas and admire Hotel de Ville, one of the area's most famous landmarks. The largest building on Nancy's main square, it dates back to the 18th century and has served as the city hall since then. The elaborate facade is covered in ornament, ranging from statues and bas-relief to the decorative balcony railing. Take a peek inside to discover its main highlight, an ornate stairwell, as well as a series of murals and paintings. • With a length of almost 100m the Hotel de Ville is the largest building on beautiful Place Stanislas. It takes over almost the whole southern side and is a work by Duke Stanislas' chief architect...

  • This huge historic city hall lines one side of Place Stanislaus and dominates the square. It had been built as a palace.

  • The Hotel de Ville is impressive and the architecture, splendid. Located right on the UNESCO Place Stanislas, which is not to be missed. Lovely at night also.

  • The only beautiful things in Nancy are Stanislas square and Pepiniere park.. that’s it. Don’t spend more than 1-2 days there. That’s enough. City hall is a nice part of the square!
  • Nancy’s place Stanislas is an impressive open space, quiet during the day but humming with life in the evenings. Gorgeous architecture all around the square with the imposing hotel de ville taking up one entire side of the square. Worth a visit
  • It is really the heart of the city of Nancy and you are in this place you can breathe the history of this beautiful city and see the historical places with beautiful gardens and enjoy your presence in this wonderful city
  • A part from Stanislas square this city is UGLY and badly planned and needs major redesign and urban planning! Almost no green spaces, trees etc the museum is really nice however staff there are rude and incompetent- poor leadership as usual !
  • The most incompetent staff at the reception you could EVER EVER EVER encounter. To say the least & I am staying polite...🤫🤬🤫
