  • This is definitively a great and wonderful place to stay. The lodge in the observatory has a absolute great view over the valley. It reminded me the Urubamba valley in Peru. The housing is very confor...  more »
  • So glad we came to this corner of Haute-Provence, and so glad we had two nights of star exploration at the Observatoire. On Saturday we joined a group discovery of the remote-observing facilities and ...  more »
  • Four wonderful days! The nights in the stars, the days for a ride with the vultures. The "starry night" and "Exoplanet mission" at the Observatory are exciting with Marc who knows how to get accessible to beginners while allowing them to explore a complex world... and infinite! Warm welcome in comfortable and beautiful, lodgings benefits beyond reproach: great little breakfast and lunch at the truffles which will remain engraved in our memories! Helen is also passionate by truffles as Marc by the stars!

  • One of the best weekends of my life. I cannot begin to thank Mark for patiently introducing my wife and myself to the fascinating world of Astronomy. The entire weekend right from the moment we go there was carefully planned. He gave us information at just the right pace to keep up absolutely fascinated and amazed. His passion for astronomy is very infectious. Be warned. Very very very infectious. I almost bought a telescope on my ride back home. Thank you Mark for opening up the Universe to us, literally. We came back home yesterday, looked up at our sky and the first thing my wife asked me was when can we go back. I cannot recommend this experience enough - even if you dont know anything about the stars (my only experience was stargazing with my father when I was around 8 years). A special thanks to Helen, for helping us organize this. Its a shame we didnt have enough time there because she is very very knowledgeable about mushrooms, especially truffles. Need to go back to pick her brains on truffles. And im not even going to get into the details of how beautiful the country side is, under developed and very unpolluted. Only thing on our minds now is how and when to go back.
  • Unforgettable experience between the Earth and the sky. Thanks to Marc for sharing his passion and his knowledge of the sky. Thanks to Helene (Boss and Meteor) of this discovery of the truffle (the smell of happiness). And thank you to you two of your home!
