  • Whether you are novice or already fan of astronomy you will find your happiness! Already, the location of the site is superb! You feel in a bubble, quietly nearby, with a clear and beautiful view. The cottage is lovely and warm, Marc and Helen are hosts listening, open to trade, passionate and very good company. The provision "weekend night" is worth a visit! What a joy to walk away with the passport of astronomy and all these knowledge acquired in a few days! Tip: If you come in autumn or winter consider clothes very hot for night observations! Strongly next visit =) Hélène, Marc, thanks for everything again! =)

  • One of the best weekends of my life. I cannot begin to thank Mark for patiently introducing my wife and myself to the fascinating world of Astronomy. The entire weekend right from the moment we go there was carefully planned. He gave us information at just the right pace to keep up absolutely fascinated and amazed. His passion for astronomy is very infectious. Be warned. Very very very infectious. I almost bought a telescope on my ride back home. Thank you Mark for opening up the Universe to us, literally. We came back home yesterday, looked up at our sky and the first thing my wife asked me was when can we go back. I cannot recommend this experience enough - even if you dont know anything about the stars (my only experience was stargazing with my father when I was around 8 years). A special thanks to Helen, for helping us organize this. Its a shame we didnt have enough time there because she is very very knowledgeable about mushrooms, especially truffles. Need to go back to pick her brains on truffles. And im not even going to get into the details of how beautiful the country side is, under developed and very unpolluted. Only thing on our minds now is how and when to go back.
  • A weekend or taking full view of stars. A beautiful site and tuned and extremely teacher hosts. You come out grew with the intention to learn more about our beautiful starry sky. A big thank you to Marc and Helen.

  • I came here to enjoy the site to make the astrophoto, but also to see the work of an Observatory. I was not disappointed, the owner knows how to make accessible his work (among other Exoplanet detection) and we were able to watch live (and understand) the detection of an Exoplanet passing in front of its star. Visiting the site we learn as much about what is a telescope, what can be seen, the relative sizes of objects in the sky... The cottages are spacious and spotless! And the sky! Crystal clear! wealth, you'll struggle to find for example the "W" of Cassiopeia so there are stars. Go ahead with eyes wide open!

  • Cottage and pool very nice, impressive and Helene, the owner, is very friendly and attentive. The Observatory is very interesting and educational, for adults and children. Mark who made the visits will always take time to explain and answer your questions. A holiday that change to advise for a week.

  • A beautiful site in the heart of nature, a warm welcome, we stayed at the Observatory a fabulous weekend at the discovery of Andromeda, Saturn and all the wonders of heaven that our guests know so well to our scope. Thanks again to Marc and Helen for this wonderful trip to the edge of the universe.
