  • Moustiers is quite a trek up from the coast but you enter a different world off-season. It's just a wonderful place to wander around - waterfalls, bridges, narrow lanes, beautiful buildings. Take the ...  more »
  • At the gates of the gorges of the Verdon this village is a Mecca of faience but, also a beautiful village. It perhaps the point end of the visit of the gorges. It is part of the most beautiful villages of France and its proximity to the Lake of Holy Cross is an added advantage when you're a tourist. The village seems laid in a case. You will find many shops of craftsmen, which offers beautiful earthenware but, always at very high prices. The pleasure of the eyes will still be there. Don't miss the Church of our Lady and the chapel Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir located on heights so you aren't afraid to sweat take the visit by the left of the village a mule path and go through the cave Ste Madeleine (must be sure of foot). Top a beautiful panorama awaits you, the Chapel is beautiful with its baroque hotel. Then by way of the cross attention back down the path is made of Pebble you need good shoes to avoid slipping. In the village you will find in the street of the diane seems to me, a store that sells herbs spices and flavored salts, it's cheap and good. Finally, don't miss the Museum of earthenware. Attention even at the end of September it is difficult to park in the car, be patient it's worth.
