  • It is obvious that also exist in French Riviera museums but the idea of lucky and skilled and young owner of many beautiful works is very interesting. Already in itself is the fact that an individual has collected many antique works (Egyptian, Etruscan, Greek and Roman) in present times is ' noteworthy but accompany many beautiful antiques with works from the classical world's five-sixteenth century (for example Rubens) and contemporary or almost sounds brilliant. Is the collection of weapons is notable ... just some sculptures I didn't understand. Two to three hours in a beautiful little town, near to Italy (and adjacent to Cannes) well utilised Sin an hour queue on the motorway when returning to accident ... but that's another story

  • We discovered this museum owned by a private collector, it is a wonder, both by the breadth of the diversity of the objects, the choice of subjects as the concept itself. The home of addition is warm, friendly and exciting. Really it's a great moment of pleasure. A huge congratulations. Parking is 100 meters from the Museum.

  • A little gem in the middle of nowhere :) really worth a visit, everything is in English and French including many touch screens. Stunning building inside. You can go in and out as many times as you like during the day.
  • An unbelievable collection. A real gem of a museum that displays its pieces in a refreshing manner, placing contemporary artist alongside the classics. Definitely a must-visit place.
  • The South of France is littered with great museums, and I've visited a lot of them in 2013. But of them all the Musée d'Art Classique is the sole to give you a morning-sized visit of such eclecticism and excellence. You want Greek, Roman or Egyptian antiquities? It has them. Old Masters? By the yard. Art by the twentieth century greats associated with the region? Yup, those too. Cutting edge contemporary? Plenty of that as well. Which could make it sound superficial. It isn't. There is an intellectual underpinning to the museum layout that becomes apparent as you wander past art of different eras that is juxtaposed in an imaginative and attractive manner. Think a rich stock of the British Museum and Tate Modern reduced, intensified and served under the sun of the south of France. Indispensable.
  • Beautiful and exciting. The Museum is on three floors one more beautiful than the other, well organized and the exhibited works well. Very nice and interesting you have combined the ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome: with the modern. The welcome was fantastic, staff very helpful. There is the toilet and very clean. To ascend or descend there is also an elevator. A souvenir shop is good and the prices.
