La visite mérite un quart d'heure de plus ce qui permettrait plus de temps pour les photos et un passage au magasin des souvenirs. (Mais il y a le problème des marées).Visit deserves a quarter of an hour more which would allow more time for photos and a passage to the souvenir shop. (But there is the problem of the tides).show original

Ronan Le Manac'hAt discontinuation a few years ago, the restoration of the Château du Taureau gave him all his interest. The view of the ramparts on the Morlaix Bay is spectacular. We also appreciated the comments on board the vessel during the short voyage from Carantec.show original

Nicolas RicoudThe Château du Taureau is a strong, planted in the middle of the Bay. It suggests the Fort Boyard. He visited recently, but you must book because timetables depend on the tides. The visit is interesting. Already by boat, the guide explains the Morlaix Bay and the Islands that make up. And once on the Fort, we took a visit theatrical by two actors from of a theatre troupe. Together, they played the fort with Vauban's history. We spent a good hour on the fort... and after the theater, we had about 20 minutes to discover the different parts of the fort (including the former cells in which different sets of wood or fancy dress have been installed). The panels well explain the uses of the fort at the time. When the bells ring, we must return to the boat... say review at the Castle and reprofiter suite of the guided tour of the Bay! An experience to discover because it is quite rare to visit forts on the open sea.show original
