  • We love castles and this one is one of our favorites, is a small castles with a great history. Everything is still there... (except, we told the Manager, what a pity) that does not detract from the historic atmosphere of its past. A review with his Church and the village of Montresor.

  • Exceptional, the experience is worth the blows as one enters a castle that has remained unchanged since its inception... we find the inside as if it was still inhabited, a very nice place (done with young children, but beware, however because many trinkets without doubt of great value that just waiting to fall)

  • Who seen already the beautifully restored castles in the Loire Valley, should in any case not Montresor let out. The Castle maintains the sleeping a little bit. Time is stopped in the rooms. One might think the nobility shall be equivalent to a. From the Castle, it has a great view of the Valley of the Indre and the surrounding village, that itself has changed not for centuries.

  • One of our favourite chateaux to visit in the Southern Touraine area of the Loire Valley.Real lived-in feel (because it is) with well furnished rooms. You have the added bonus of its setting in one of the 'Les-Plus-Beaux-Villages-de-France'
  • Truly beautiful. Not mentioned in many travel guides but a must to visit!
  • Richly furnished Castle. We appreciate to stroll through this place still full of life and a few surprises (hunting trophies, staircase Cuba ebony...). To visit.
