One of the most beautiful walks in the area. Simple and easy side Cazevieille, sportier side Saint Mathieu of Melanie. For the more experienced, the Ridge Road is amazing.

A major hike in the corner. A path strewn with pebbles (it's better to be equipped with basketball), a side a bit more steep but rewarded with a nice view upstairs :).

Easy access and parking available initially to Cazevieille. Plan of the water and good shoes for the climb which is full of obstacles (stones) from the beginning to the end. Rise in 1 h 30 to 2 h depending on your level, but the view is stunning and breathtaking. Panorama 360 on the region. Go to Hello to the guy in the lookout which monitors forest fires, he knows inside out the region. After taking the eyes, keep the open for the descent which is as rough. The thighs and calves work hard. Must walk in the region

Beautiful trip! Great view! Highly recommended. Maybe try avoid going in the warmest of summer.

Fantastic highly recommended day trip from Montpellier. 2-3hr return 6km hike but please remember to bring water, snacks and suncream. The hike departs from the village cazevielle (no supplies available or shops) on the south western side of the peak, note that Google might send you the wrong way. The final 430m ascent is steeper and not well marked, it will bring you to the top where there is a fire lookout, historic shrine and spectacular views. Well worth the effort!

Wonderful location. A 2hours walk which may be a bit hard without water and solar cream, but definitely worth it. An amazing panorama of the region, from the cevennes to the town of Sete.
