  • We returned to the Museum for the exhibition Bazille: fantastic! Bazille is placed in context, with his friends Renoir, Monet, Sisley... Don't miss: the still life with heron, Bazille and Sisley, both painting the same subject, and Renoir painting Bazille painting the heron. On the other hand why hunting herons, the Jays and a magpie who don't eat? The expo ends with the photo in black and white of the table of Fantin - Latour: so we will fly to Luxembourg for the expo of Fantin, long live life!

  • Since its renovation the Museum became the must-see Museum of Montpellier. Beautiful expos are often presented with pieces gleaned from prestigious international museums which allows the culture to leave a little Paris.

  • I heard from my local friends that one day isn't enough to see everything in Fabre and they were right. The museum is room after room full of amazing master pieces from known and not so popular artists. I recommend the place for all art lovers and for me it was one of Montpellier's main attractions.
  • Nicely curated collections. Very interesting, and the shop is lovely too.
