The program of my escapade to Montpellier, I rediscovered the Fabre Museum I had visited only once 10 years ago. Reception a sweet lady, in the halls of the kind guardians (it is already much) other than this guy who followed me for "stalking" me while I did nothing. We believe that there is always an illuminated in each team? Expo temporary Nauman / Bacon is very well staged, but she is pretty indigestible for the general public. The 2 artists is not necessarily the most "known" should have been I think starting with a reminder and a contextualization before imagine (fairly extensive) parallels between the two. It's a shame because personally I love Nauman and finds that his works were very well developed here. About the permanent collection I loved the thematic hanging on the ruins. I think that for expo + permanent it takes 2-3 hours. I did not the annex building. Finally regarding the store I found prices relatively high despite the period of balances (early August), it might have been nice a few rebates? A little disappointed with the choice of the postcards also, but it is systematic at all :) A wide choice of books, some derivatives and decorative products without great interest. A lot of things for kids (workshops creative etc)!

I saw a flyer announcing Francis Bacon, in unconditional I rush. Face to face with Bruce Nauman m not convinced as, matter of taste; but on the second floor we the right to Pierre Soulages, it does not deny it.

The museum offers for every taste. Both of the 17th century to contemporary art. Beautiful building. Not too busy.

Overrated and too expensive. There are much better museums in other French cities that are "gratuit".

I really enjoy visiting museums, however there were not many people there and had the most unpleasant experience as the security guard followed me from room to room and was looking at me as I was looking at paintings, as if I were going to damage something. It was so unpleasant I had to leave.

Subject of the exhibition in mid may was emotional. Even the museum guards has great art knowledge in this museum..great.

An excellent museum, earlier works on the ground floor, rising with time periods up to modern works on the top floor, all good quality. Many pieces by M. Fabre, a talented artist in his own right. A very instructive and enjoyable visit.

Beautiful Museum. Lots of French artists of course. Parking is difficult but we found a spot on the street. Lovely large park across the street from Museum.
