Jardins d'Angélique, Montmain

(30+ reviews on the web)
The man-made landscape of Jardins d'Angélique features over 2,000 different varieties of plants. Created around a 18th-century manor house belonging to the owner, the garden is planted with a profusion of roses, hydrangeas, and hostas, and showcases a large lawn with flower borders. Started in 1989 in memory of their daughter, a couple of amateur gardeners created it from the ground up. Intimate and romantic, the cottage garden is a white garden with box-edged beds of perennials and decorative grass with yew topiary.
