Book a tour of Musee Maurice Ravel to see the villa once owned by composer Maurice Ravel. Ravel settled here in 1920, and composed most of his works here. Fans of the genius may have the overwhelming experience of playing his original piano and seeing his record player. Personal effects, furniture, and paintings fill just about every corner of the house. Make a reservation in advance, as tours are only offered at specific times and the number of daily visitors is limited. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Montfort-l'Amaury holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Musee Maurice Ravel and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Wonderful visit. We were able to rent out his piano room and play on it for an hour. Lovely guide who showed us around as well. Thank you very much!

  • Small museum very cute, with a very nice little garden (but I could not take advantage). It is better to be in good shape to visit it (it goes up a bit to go). I need permission from the town hall to put pictures.
