  • Why our ancestors they extracted, carved, polished, lined up, made such gigantic blocks of stone? The mystery remains as to their motivation and their meaning, even though archaeologists have been able to demonstrate how they did.

  • I didn't know a place like this. He there reign a happy and lively atmosphere. The stones are hot despite the cold weather. We did a "pause time" and forgotten Meanwhile worries that gave us the desire to see another region. We did well.

  • We did visit a Sunday, so no special activities. We had the map available at the entrance of the site. We missed the beginning of the course and we ended up on the wrong side. No big deal, we continued but we "lost"... The only interesting thing was standing menhirs and the reconstituted village.

  • This is an absolutely fantastic site for megalithic arrangements. It is both impressive and educational, as the site has taken great care to provide a series of demonstrations and narratives about the megalithic cultures of the area and how the stones were erected. We had the site to ourselves when we came. So if you want to experience something like Carnac without the crowds and restrictions, this is a great alternative.
