  • Make your trip complete and take a walk around the ramparts of Mont-Saint-Michel. Watch your step and take your time!
  • A place to go with time and pleasure. I heard mass at the Abbey with a choir of wet really heavenly

  • As other parts of the enclosure, the walls offer superb views and are an attraction in themselves.

  • This is an icon of France. Yes there are lots of tourists, but it is definitely worth seeing. Go early and you can enjoy walking the ramparts. The tiny streets and shops are quaint. The Abbey is spectacular. On half is Romanesque and the other half is Gothic. Just spectacular. I will definitely return here again.
  • We arrived on a very wet day but that didn't dampen our spirits.. What a wonderful experience just to stand and imagine what life was like in this place many years ago.. Certainly worth a visit, the only down side was the car park and the lack of information about paying. It was total chaos - drivers sent back to pay after getting soaking wet and then to find where to was tucked behind a building with no directional information.. All it took was to have information at entrance and there would be no confusion.
  • This is a very beautiful structure that has been completely overrun with tourism. Unfortunately I don't even feel like saw the place because I was fighting crowds the whole time. Some reviews suggested finding refuge on top, but for me it was too much all the way through. Any choice of dining is going to be bad too. None of the restaurants need to care about quality or service because they will be full anyway. Do yourself a favor and just pickup a cheap sandwich from a stall or better yet, bring your own.
  • It's a nice place to look at from the outside and makes pretty pictures, the last time i came here was much more enjoyable. Now, however, it is an overcommercialised monster. If you drive you have to pay quite a lot for parking (EUR11.90 if you go over 2 hours) and take a packed bus crammed like sardines to Mont St Michel. There, you will find overpriced, cheap tat for sale and restaurants that are extortionate. My recommendation? Go there after 7pm when you can drive in for free, and walk along the walkway and take pictures outside. Don't even bother going in. The view from the top is bland and unnecessary.
  • Must visit. Very beautiful architecture & design from both outside & inside. They provide 2 methods of shuttling from car park to the building : free by bus & paied by horse all are stroller-friendly . Inside the building you will find alot of stores that sells small antequ. We enjoyed our time over there.
