5/5 based on 35 reviews on the web
Built in the 15th century, L'Eglise Saint Girons de Monein took 70 years to complete and served as the largest regional church in its day. It reflected the wealth of the local inhabitants, many of whom constructed the Gothic church with their own hands. Today visitors can tour its famous heart-of-oak frame, an excellent example of medieval architecture. Take time to view its large Baroque altarpiece and 17th-century organ from Toulouse as well.
