  • Go to Molines in Queyras the Italy. It is 15 km from progressive rise in magnificent landscapes. And the view to the collar on the Monviso, the Italian plain Sugar Loaf and massive Queyras and Écrins (in the distance). Possibility of a beautiful walk to the old collar from the parking lot at 2 km from the Summit.

  • Col Agnel (2746 m) with a view of the Viso is not only an extraordinary goal to ride in the car, at the Franco-Italian border, but also the starting point ideal to climb the most beautiful Summit of the Southern Alps, which is almost accessible to all despite his 3200 m altitude: Sugar Loaf. I went up a couple of times and I have met in the past 2 times children under 5 at the top; I took my daughter when she was 7 years old, securing it with a small rope to avoid any misstep, because the path is narrow and very steep. From the top, the view over Monviso is breathtaking. You can see very Mont Blanc, and a little less sharply Monte Rosa to know identify. A very common phenomenon to observe from the Col Agnel are clouds (nebbia) lifts from the damp plain of the Po, which dissolve just above the pass in contact with warm air and dry of the Queyras.

  • For the few that you have a clear view on the Italy, you will be delighted! The border between the two countries is a must in the Queyras, on the road you will see quantity of marmots and below the pass, a walk is suitable for beginners to get to the old collar. We love!
