  • very comprehensive Museum. Good topics for children. From prehistory through the Gauls and the tales and legends to finish with local crafts from the middle ages to our days.

  • Beautiful ballad in Millau history through exhibitions. It's not the Louvre, the visit is rather fast.

  • The Millau Museum is located on a beautiful square in the city center. Enjoy a visit on hot days. The freshness is nice. The visit of the Museum begins with an exhibition of fossils and prehistoric bones, check out then the main activity of the city for centuries: the pottery. The vaulted the exhibition rooms are very well restored. Many pieces of pottery are presented. On the ground floor temporary exhibitions take place. The presentation is interactive and interesting. Upstairs the leather work is in the spotlight. All stages of the realization of a glove are described. Admire beautiful pairs of gloves. The know-how of the craftsmen of Millau is described very well in a short film aired at the end of the exhibition. Certain days of the week, admission is free.

  • When we were here the museum was open for free. Special exhibition for the beauty and the beast. We teh looked around the glove making exhibition. This was fascinating. The downside of the museum was we were chased out at an early time, with the words, 'We have to eat' The French and their lunch!!! The French don't seem to understand customer service. Can't complain I suppose because it was free on the day.
  • This is not a museum but a great shop. Gloves are shown flat without any value, for example on hand (in resin, plastic, wax etc...) No explanation on the production line, pictures only from a bygone era, and a few old sewing machines... Here you have toured the Museum that's not worth a visit... too bad

  • Took advantage of the last days of heritage to come to family (two adults, two children aged 10 and 13 years) in this museum... Each visitor of my "tribe" has found interest! Is certainly not a full day, for this there is the Louvre, but certainly 1 to 2 hours for little to be open to the different exposed subjects.
