  • Village to discover with excellent craftsmen and crafts. Pity that the parking is so expensive.

  • Throughout the 13th century the monks soldiers of the order of the Temple, to protect passengers, had built fortified houses called Commanderies. In Aveyron, on the Larzac plateau, in some places of the Cavalry, another commandery of the order, the Couvertoirade is a jewel of medieval times with one of the few castles built by the Templars. For those who love the old stones full of history, worth 100 times the city. Past the walls that surrounds it, one is immersed in medieval times with its cobbled streets, its houses, its church and its castle. One can imagine the harshness of life on this hostile set swept by the winds.

  • When we pass the door of the village we go back in time at the time of the Templars, beautiful village which has preserved its authenticity, craft shops open in season, it's a real pleasure to browse these busy streets of history. A couple with a visit to the circus of Navacelles not far away and possibly Ste Eulalie...

  • TOURIST VILLAGE. Pretty medieval village made up of traders. Too bad. Awarded to new and clean, for tourists. Prepare the currency: it starts with the car park located at 350 m. Even you, friends MOTORCYCLISTS. Provide water bottle for the summer, as they say: "the Sun knocks!".
