A beautiful garden Menton, Les Jardins Bioves, was named after Emile Biovès, a nineteenth century mayor of Menton. Les Jardins Bioves is not the typical garden. It set on the path of Carei and 800 m long. Throughout the year, you can see lawns full of flowers and exotic trees. Stunning sculptures and cooling fountains are interspersed within the garden creating an impressive sight. If you visit during Christmas Season or during the Lemon Festival, you will find an enchanting scene as the garden is dressed up to suit the occasion. Les Jardins Bioves is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our custom trip planner, Menton Edition.

  • Each year, during the Festival of lemons, Biovès gardens are the theater of an exhibition of grounds of citrus. For 2017, the theme was Broadway, and the giant sculptures, but short-lived, represented the largest, American musicals with thousands of oranges and lemons. It's amazing, dazzling, wonderful... and it is to be admired, if possible, by sunny

  • We were in Paris during the Fete du Citron and enjoyed the sabauda calm inhabitants and tourists, even during the course of the event. The works created with citrus fruits are really gorgeous and beautiful and festive atmosphere. Too bad for this severe weather that was to see the heavy deployment of security forces. We hope that the French Riviera can find its true identity as a place of vacation and not terrorist incidents. Congratulations to the organizers and everyone who participated in the creation of artwork created with citrus. And congratulations to all inhabitants to this fantastic city, washed by a beautiful sea and bathed in sunshine for 300 days a year. It was nice to walk the streets of the old town, to switch to the more recent construction, ending finally visiting the beach, facing the blue sea with its unique aroma. We will be back soon.
