  • A very responsible to history, medieval jewelry. A constuctioni, beautiful, furnished, very well kept owned has an owner who has hosted the Jews to protect here. Francis Chin, the owner, a good friend of Charles de Gaulle, plays an important role in the history of the France.

  • Seen from a distance when it runs along the Lake side Talloires, and eventually you get so much he intrigues. It does since the 12th century, in the same family since time immemorial, this charming Manor of 105 pieces. Everything looks great, very fun visit and wonderful pieces, besides this overall appearance may be a bit kitsch but which is so alluring. Amazing actually.

  • Reading all the reviews of the castle, I notice that some points keep coming back: the tours in costume and the language of the tours. Having been a (Dutch) guide in the castle for 4 years now, I will...  more »

  • Worth the trip up there just for the views alone. Unfortunately there is no photography allowed in castle. You also have to take a guided tour. The fee was fair, and there wasn't many people. The drive up there had minimal signage, but the GPS managed to get us there. The castle has various rooms to see that are decorated in traditional linens. It is a functioning castle with a family living there so there are portions of the castle that are not available for viewing. If you are in the area and have a car to drive up to the castle, it'll be well worth it!
  • Absolutely amazing castle and view. This part of France is definitely on the top of the 'Most Beautiful Places In The World' list. Enjoy !
  • Beautiful old castle, but be warned they only open in the afternoons
  • Your was very nice and theatrical, but there was so tour in English.
  • Beware during peak season you may have to arrive early to get tickets: the last tickets are sold way before the last visit
