  • Autumn and spring are seasons where the visit of the Park Oriental de Maulévrier is a treat! This Park website tells you about the flowering of the moment. The trip can be done in an hour and a half. Do not forget your camera (I took a lot!)

  • On a bright November afternoon, the autumn colours of the gardens are a magnet for photographers. Although there were lots of visitors, families included, the gardens did not lose their sense of peace...  more »
  • This place is very beautiful and very soothing. We really want to come back for another season, and try the night tour. I guess that maintenance is expensive but 6 euros for the reduced fare (not if reduced; the full fee is 7 euros) it won't we bring back as fast. We enjoyed a lot to come with the dog (who has also enjoyed the ride). The staff we met was very friendly.

  • A great way to spend an afternoon. The gardens are beautiful. Tearoom very nice, offering very welcome drinks and snacks if you wanted them.
  • Superb Japanese gardens from the Edo period. Generous size, well-maintained and well worth the visit. Even better in spring for the azaleas or autumn for the maples.
  • Magnifique
  • A truly wonderful experience to see all the marvellous gardens in such a peaceful setting
  • I was excited. More we had the right to a guided tour of an exciting enthusiast. Size trees, quiet, Japanese philosophy, wonder. A big congratulations.
