  • Lovely beaches especially later in the day with great view of sunset. A shame it can get a bit overcrowded during the day !  more »
  • The plague you Prado, train 20 min ride on the bus from the Vieux Port. The beach is relatively large, relatively clean and fully (as it should be for a City Beach).

  • Range creates from scratch thanks to the construction of the metro. So very large, several beaches, equipped to allow the PMR(personne à mobilité réduite) to approach the beach. The dikes with different levels for this sit. Corners of dams by not very clean. But you have kept changing, monitored public showers. Family beaches. If you are walking on Marseille, it is convenient accessible bus. To do once during class breaks. Photos online

Where to stay in Marseille

The Old Port is near the water, seafood restaurants, and the not-to-be-missed museums. Hotels with sea views come with a price tag to match, though. For more affordable accommodations and local character, check out hostels and rental apartments in the Panier district. The Canebière neighborhood is in the heart of the action. For a more nature-oriented locale, a hotel near Garde Hill offers the nearby botanical gardens.
