Found a little by chance long stayed there for its quiet serene atmosphere. The architecture has marked us. But the place also gives an impression of being bit animated or employee.

Visit especially for charity, a beautiful and quiet setting... The museum itself seems a little sleepy; the collections could be highlighted.

Several interesting exhibitions in very beautiful old monastery. And cozy and a nice priced restaurant. Delicious home baked cakes!

Well ask when buying your tickets if all of the rooms are open. You paying full price and once on the floors you are told that you will see 3 bathrooms of 5 because of the lack of staff!

It's great in families the hique is that on the statutes of Egyptian Antiquities there was not too much description, as the translation of the hieroglyph. Otherwise great!

Where to stay in Marseille

The Old Port is near the water, seafood restaurants, and the not-to-be-missed museums. Hotels with sea views come with a price tag to match, though. For more affordable accommodations and local character, check out hostels and rental apartments in the Panier district. The Canebière neighborhood is in the heart of the action. For a more nature-oriented locale, a hotel near Garde Hill offers the nearby botanical gardens.
