  • It was a pleasure to discover the Castle well located in this small village Hotel noise and the surplus population. It feels on peace in an atmosphere of calm, gentle, dreamy... and great...! It was a very enjoyable lunch, plug in, wander, stroll! In short, take pleasure in this small marginal life in its originality :)

  • Having booked what proved to be an excellent lunch at Le chai, one of the two restaurants at the château (see separate review) we thought we would look around the park beforehand. We arrived at 10am t...  more »
  • What a contrast between this absolutely beautiful place, and the dinner that was served to us we had a tasting menu with the wine option at the glass for each dish (€45, for a total of €170 per person) the quality of the food is basic, banal presentation, and the deplorable service with in particular a server to limit insolent attitude! In short, it's a shame, given the beauty of places and the price worthy of a star, to be disappointed at this point!

  • Château de Ferrières holds a special place in my Thor hands ~ as a rather insightful man named Ben Roethig a Tech writer, and eternal Cubs/Bears/Bulls/Hawkeyes fan has suggested that my Swedish and Polish roots from my mother Doris Bergstrom's side of the family is in fact a sacred seven point asterism scythe of the South - West - East scratch pattern upon my black Menards T-shirt ~ whereby the Merak *β star of the "Plough" is the sixth point from the Big Dippers ladle handle. This point star is synchronous to my R.A.K. initials when I refer to myself as "Me" with them where the phrase then manifests the name Merak *β . Of interest is that the name Richard also has the word "ard" contained within it. So mnemonically I do cluster various letters as such to get the word out. For example the Big Dippers ladle is composed of three stars and it's bowl composed of four. Using alpha numeric association the letter "R" in Richard falls both at Alkaid the end of the ladles handle and the "Beautiful jade" 璇 sharp plow point of Merak; the 1st and 6th pole position. Logic suggests though that I also mention in this review that Rich and Ard are actually two separate words and the sequence of R-Dubhe I-Merak C-Phecda H-Megrez (δ)/ The Bowl and A-Alioth R-Mizar - D-Alkaid/ The Handle. But wait is the handle a Sword and the bowl the handle of the Sword? Actually it is, remember we are interpreting patterns via dot connection. As the progression of time has archived and refined knowledge the various interpretations have been preserved. The Big Dipper is also a Bear where Merak is the Loin point. So as computers become cognitive as some may say they already are these asterisms will play an important role in all facets of humanity as they will be likened to various items such as weapons that the military will use to fight and dispatch cyber terror as well as the brands and price points of items that we purchase in the supermarket. I'll be honest with you and remind you that my zodiac is not of the bear. It is of the 1964 Dragon and the April 21st Taurus Bull hence the horny and rack jokes. So when a Columbia College Student such as myself builds anthropomorphic robots on the media set it will surely involve the constellations of Draco and Aldebaran for this notion of Me being a type of plough oxen ~ Malaysian biduk ARK upon the Deltoid of the All Mighty.
