  • The visit to the Museum turned out to be rewarding culturally, in historical terms, that artistically about the artworks. I enjoyed the tour of the Park which is a haven of peace, peacefulness and quiet. Trees with various species are age-old for some and admirable beauty. Paying symbolic € 1 has the advantage that each feels responsible and respectful both of the place, and others. If I had the happiness to have this Park close to home, I would often walk there!

  • We went there with the family, and the children enjoyed down stairs, walking near the Abbey, running in the gardens. We love this relaxing place and love going there to see the trees: we do beautiful pictures.

  • The theme of the Museum is a little snack: Jansenism. But the setting is beautiful and outstanding. If you have the chance to meet the visiting curator will be fabulous, amazing, breathtaking... A passionate man who knows how to share his knowledge. A key location of the Valley of chevreuse and magny the hamlets. Do not forget to go down to the Abbey and to go to the village of magny to visit the Church of paris Saint germain and its cemetery: fall of port royal abbesses but also of the first European Member of Parliament female (Louise Weiss) and happiness (the family of Rosa Bonheur) family...

  • Very nice place, very peaceful landscape, much history! Staff at the Museum very friendly and attentive, willing to help in answering any question. If possible, go the first Sunday of the month, when the stairs that lead from the ruins of the Abbey to the Museum are open. But it's a ride to whatever the weekend alone, with friends or family. The hike of the Château de la Madeleine à Port-Royal is pretty easy and absolutely worth it!

  • Very disappointed! Ruins of the Abbey that can be visited only on weekends, and yet the price remains the same during the week... Orchard and vegetable garden which are absolutely not maintained! Really too bad because the framework is however very nice.
