Ninkasi Hôtel de ville, Lyon
(4.1/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web)
Ninkasi Hôtel de ville is Lyon’s city hall and one of the largest historic buildings in the area. The interior still operates as the city hall, but the exterior stands as a grand sentinel flanking a main square. Its 17th- and 18th-century edifice is worthy of admiration. The building has been classified as a Monument Historique since 1886, about 250 years after the builders broke ground. Notice the half relief of Henry IV n the middle of the facade; this was once a relief of Louis XIV. However, during the French revolution King Louis was removed from the facade. A blank spot stood on the spot until an the image of Henry replaced him during the restoration. • The outside is beautiful, a renovation comes to be done, in closing all recently by the door and grates that overlook the place of Terreaux. I had several times the opportunity to return to its beautiful salons but I have visited it during the heritage days (he does not visit, it is a place of work and especially receptions).

  • The Hotel de Ville de Lyon is a large and imposing building. The decorative details of its facade must be assessed very carefully, because they are of great expressiveness. The square is also worth consideration-there, the gay population of the city meets in fun games. Young people do there, as in other parts of the city, their bachelor party games.

  • Lyon City Hall is located between place de la Comedie and the Terreaux. Its built from 1646 to 1672, but after 2 years after completion of the building was severely damaged by fire and required its rehabilitation and reconstruction. On the Internet there is a description of a door knocker in the shape of figures of Cupid at the entrance of the building, a courtyard with statues of Roman gods and wall sculpted decorations, Interior French baroque city hall, grand staircase, painting walls and ceilings, the armorial Hall. But beating City Hall around, I did not find neither the door knocker, nor the ability to enter the building (the doors were closed), so that nothing but the exterior of the building see failed.

  • Endroit sympa pour boire des bière brassées localement. Ai testé la Triple et la IPA, je les recommande.
  • Great burgers, great beers, great neighborhood but small terrace. (I also like the salads.)
  • Good beer, good music, good atmosphere. A nice place to meet people.
  • who does not like a few cold ones
  • The beer was weak and did not compare to the same beers we had in Tarare 3 hours before. Hamburger was not cooked.
