4.7/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web
Le Mur Des Canuts transforms an ordinary street corner into an art gallery. Murals dot, and sometimes cover, the walls with depictions of the everyday people frozen in a moment. You may find a baker bringing her bread out to cool, a businesswoman rushing to work, or a child playing. All of the images reflect the dynamic energy and humor of the city in which they’re painted. Le Mur Des Canuts is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, Lyon Edition.

  • Not even thought that after the frescoes in the heart of the city, this mural can produce strong impression. Indeed, it is worth going to the residential quarters in matro, to see this masterpiece. in principle, the entire area rhone Alpes are mostly local tourism, slyšit′sâ mainly French speaking, and this is the beauty of Lyon and surroundings, though in the city and, especially, the suburbs of many immigrants.

  • From afar and will not understand that there are real, and what is an illusion. Drawn cityscape on the façade of one of the houses. Curious. Not in the Centre (Boulevard des Canuts on the Hill of Croix-Rousse), but worth the visit. Local landmark, judging by the many like it. Like me.

  • Possibly the best painted wall in the whole Lyon. Loved the hallway documenting the changes over time in order to better represent the neighborhood. :)
  • Worth a detour, no wonder this is one of the most photographed spots in Lyon. On the left side of the building there is a set of panels documenting the changes to the paintings over the years.
  • It seems like here isn't popular place. But I'd like to recommand here if you're on Lyon
  • Enjoy visiting and taking a trick photo. Really fun!
  • Superb... The best fresco of Lyon. Not to be missed!
