  • This museum is very interesting. You learn a lot of things in a short time. The team is young and dynamic. The tour is divided into two time: A PowerPoint presentation accompanied by explanations of the guide and then a demonstration of the craft of the canuts with explanations... The visit is very complete... A staple of Lyon... at the end of the visit, they offer you a cocoon of worms in silk. Quite suitable for young children, teenagers, and less teens!

  • Fabulous small museum. Worth it for the demonstration of an original jacquard weaving machine (I think this happens at 3.30 each afternoon). The gift shop sells nice scarves
  • Very interesting museum. Offers information in various languages.
  • The history of silk in lyon. Also the history of technology with Jacquard. If you plan to visit lyon you have to go there.
  • Better to be interested in the subject, otherwise it's a bit austere. It should be noted the high quality of the guided tour. The players are passionate and we see no time pass all learning a lot of things.

  • I was very disappointed. The place is tiny and there's finally enough little things to see. These are mainly large panels to read.
