Cour des Loges - Les Loges, Lyon

(4.3/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
At Cour des Loges - Les Loges, each room has a life of its own, the concierge is an encyclopedia, and the restaurant is a four-star Michelin adventure. You must be a guest of the hotel to explore the traboules, the passageways Lyon is known for, that cut through its architecture. However, if you stop by for a cocktail, you can take a short tour of the courtyard. The building itself dates before the 16th century and the current design enhances the original structure with new twists. Work out when and for how long to visit Cour des Loges - Les Loges and other Lyon attractions using our handy Lyon trip builder.

  • There are a lot of things, nice things, to see in Lyon. The traboules are part of the historical heritage of the city. Take time to stroll in the neighborhood and sometimes don't hesitate to push a door to discover these passages and that behind it.

  • The action happens, as in Act I described in my first article, in the grand Theater of the Court des Loges in Lyon. A shady at the magical Gates corridor evoking the work of Cocteau, after which a succulent bugnes and madeleines are offered leads, by accompanying distinguished a receptionist to a wonderful room located on the first floor, and the décor evokes, as in Act I, the frescoes of a Venetian Palace where a huge bathtub made a point of natural water; an antique floor separates several meters of the ceiling beams and the hangings round about are the best silkiness of the city. It's a staircase of historical stone that you can access the restaurant, located at ground level in a transparent and subtle, court whose air has this color "breath elephant" that loved Sarah Bernhardt, surrounded of arches on three floors up to the acrobatics of a canopy of clouds. An alcove is in the room - without a doubt the most comfortable and discreet Observatory for the study of his contemporaries-, which offers a broad panorama of silverware, glassware, and extraordinary dishes presented as stars at the glorious time of the capitals. After char to tender cocoa, the orange dance lutée with foie gras, the appetizer and Lilliputian mignardises, real excellent dishes in reduction, comes culminated in a master costume white: it is Mr. Anthony Bonnet, host star of these places, honoring each table in a small conference learned about the art of his craft in the spirit of Brillat-Savarin and his "physiology of taste". The enchantment ends with the fire sign of a small fireplace, extinct in Act I and the crossing symbolic of Nizier Anthelme Philippe, previously cited, fair. Marie-Laure GAILLARD - PASTURAL

  • Very bad customer service. We have booked one room for 3 days. Our last day we came back to our room and we realize that our staff was not there. They literally moved all our belongs: clothes, perfumes, jewelry to another room. they just told us that that room was taken. I have been in many hotels and this has never happen to me. Very disappointed also with the quality of the room. Some things were dirty like the shower
  • A beautiful hotel will definitely visit again when I have more time.
  • Great staff. Rooms in urgent need of renovation. Outdated furniture, plumbing and equipment... not cool if you charge 400 euros a night. Not a true 5 star given the state of the rooms and public spaces (outdated).
  • Amazing place full of history. A perfect place for romantic week-end
  • High end Hotel featuring excellent cuisine, Spa, Pool, beautiful rooms and Suites in medieval setting. Sometimes problems with plumbing
