Cour des Loges, Lyon

Categories: Tourist Spots, Mysterious Sites
Inspirock Rating:
4.2/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web
At Cour des Loges, each room has a life of its own, the concierge is an encyclopedia, and the restaurant is a four-star Michelin adventure. You must be a guest of the hotel to explore the traboules, the passageways Lyon is known for, that cut through its architecture. However, if you stop by for a cocktail, you can take a short tour of the courtyard. The building itself dates before the 16th century and the current design enhances the original structure with new twists. • Here I don't know, these "trabuliny" refer to the male or female kin? Somewhere saw writing as female, and stick. Trabuli-this passes with street to street, from one House to another, within the same House, with level-by-level, etc. I advise you to find an outline of the main trabulej and choose something to visit. Most visited-this so-called "long trabul′", it crosses four courtyards and four buildings, the entrance is at no. 54 on St. Jean Street (Rue Saint-Jean), exit-in house No. 27 Beth Street (Rue du Boeuf, or vice-versa). There were a lot of tourists, the place is popular. Pay attention to the special decals before entering that indicate where to enter. I, honestly, my plan to the local landmarks rather "cool" because it's all reminiscent of some slums. But still, the spectacle of a fairly unique, so do not miss the opportunity to participate.

  • Very bad customer service. We have booked one room for 3 days. Our last day we came back to our room and we realize that our staff was not there. They literally moved all our belongs: clothes, perfumes, jewelry to another room. they just told us that that room was taken. I have been in many hotels and this has never happen to me. Very disappointed also with the quality of the room. Some things were dirty like the shower
  • Amazing place full of history. A perfect place for romantic week-end
  • High end Hotel featuring excellent cuisine, Spa, Pool, beautiful rooms and Suites in medieval setting. Sometimes problems with plumbing
  • The staff is magnificent and the rooms are charming. The location is perfect.....away from the hustle of the retail district, yet a 10 minute walk to get directly in the thick of it. The cobblestone streets throughout Lyon are marvelous. God only knows who else has walked on those very stones.
  • Gerard and staff were completely impeccable. The hotel is like a dream. We loved it completely.
