  • It is one of the most beautiful sites dedicated to sailing to which I could spend 3 great hours. Museum very informative and educational scope, the city of Lorient can boast of such a teaching tool. Whether amateur, in love with the sea, or simple tourist passage in Morbihan this place sailing Lighthouse will put everyone agree. The exhibits and play areas proposed are a real appeal. Place to visit as soon as you get a chance.

  • Very nice museum with a lot of material available in French, English and Breton. Numerous interactive displays.
  • A visit to the curious who want to see behind the scenes of the middle of the race offshore. I tried with children out of an hour at sea or at least in the Lorient roadstead. I recommend it highly great memory with a sailing instructor that has well initiated and discover the roadstead and its history.

  • Very nice Museum on modern sailing, to better understand the current boats. Educational and fun, with also a very beautiful space on Tabarly, informative. Various activities (control of model and real ship, games on the maneuvers) are well done. A nice experience.

  • The Cité de la Voile is a magnificent museum devoted to sailing and regatta at sea. The visit is very interactive, you can touch to many things, and experience some manoeuvres related to sails, ropes... Some digital animations to compete between friends. A 4 d Simulator puts us briefly into the skin of a participant in the Vendée Globe. In addition to visiting the Museum, you can do a guided tour of the pontoons dedicated to racing boats. During our visit, few vessels (in full transat, they would not expect ;)), but the guide was quality, we giving more details on each boat, and when we well describing the differences between each class of sailboats.
