  • The place is hard to find, but once there everything is fine. Nice, spaces for children are perfectly designed, even for children! Many proposed activities are very playful and really fun; train - to make the real knots, to take a boat out of port, to pull the edge into the wind! A real good time with your family.

  • Even if you're a sailor seasoned, jaded and believing everything, a little visit in these places will make you go back to your childhood dreams... It's simple, well explained and then interactive with beautiful animations. The technique is not forgotten so far and I enjoy taking family and friends who all took pleasure to visit this sanctuary of the sail. Do from 3 to 99 years and coming back because the exhibits change. And for those who discover the sea will take a ride on the docks and see the mythical boats...

  • I visited with an ex naval colleague with between us 60 years of British Royal Navy maritime experience. We were we very well looked after despite our poor efforts in the French language. We visited the submarine, the subarine base and the cite de la voile and found it all to be fascinating and well worth the price. In particular, the cite de la voile was interesting and informative for all ages and our favourite part was saying our own mini yacht around a pool - we could have played for hours. Thank you for your warm welcome.
  • On rainy days it's good to arrive early because their are limited availabilities for the tours. You can visit the submarine as well as the old base. There are also other seasonal exhibitions and activities. Very cool, worth the visit.
  • Great place for rainy day fun.
  • Great visit, especially with kids. The staff is very helpful and point you at the right amount of activities -- of which there are plenty!
  • They have made a really good effort to make it modern and interactive, however we found it pretty boring.
