Megalithic Site of Locmariaquer, Locmariaquer

(3.5/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
Megalithic Site of Locmariaquer is a complex of Neolithic constructions comprising the elaborate Er-Grah tumulus passage grave. The dolmen is known as the "Table des Marchand" (Merchant's Table). "The Broken Menhir of Er Grah," erected around 4,700 BCE, is the largest known single block of stone to have ever been transported and erected by Neolithic man . Archaeological findings have proven that the 21 m (68 ft), 280-ton boulder once stood erect, but is now toppled over and broken into four pieces. Using our custom trip planner, Locmariaquer attractions like Megalithic Site of Locmariaquer can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Quite disappointed, already because it pays... anything to make the people pay right fences around the site just for money is ridiculous. Then why deny access with a dog it's stupidity... These are only stones outdoor addition. And what struck me the most upset and shocked it is this woman who told me "you can park in the shade and leave the dog"... my mind I cannot write it here, but she would do better to refrain from such stupid advice. better brief is the discovery of dolmens isolated at least you can do with your dog and will not fly you your money...
