Explore the rock formations and subterranean river at Grotte de Limousis, a cave complex of several chambers. You will see a variety of caverns, tunnels, stalagmites, stalactites, and mineral deposits. Many of the caves' features are the results of millions of years of massive underground water flow, making it a useful place for the study of geological formations created by subterranean water. The caves have been modified for visitors, making them safe and accessible to explore. • Highly recommend to visit this site. Some say this is the less interesting of the two caves in the area but I don’t agree. This cave has some spectacular views and the tour guides are amazing. Mind...

  • One of the most amazing caves I've had the pleasure of visiting. Our guide was multilingual and had a great sense of humour, so passionate and knowledgeable about this great place. The final room had a small show of lights and music, which brought me to tears in its astonishing beauty AND we had a wine tasting! The gift shop was my personal heaven. Highly recommend!
  • Rated one of the 10 best European caves. You can visit the Cave different time during the day, more or less every hour with a guide in French or with a device&earplugs in English. The Cave is amazing, tour take about 40min with a wine tasting at the end of it.
  • Really nice trip to take. The guide was really enthusiastic which was really nice. The spoken language is French but she took the effort to translate in English for some parts. Nice about this cave is the trip through the cave. From point to point you will learn more about the cave.
  • Worth a visit, includes free tasting of local wine. Audio commentary could be more comprehensive, French guide gave a much fuller commentary albeit in French. Cost reasonable.
  • Nice cool place on a hot day. The light shown in the last room is spectacular. Tour is guided, only available in french.
