  • Located a few meters of les Halles, the butcher Street is one of the picturesque streets of Limoges, characterized by small half-timbered buildings. 100 metres long, it connects the place of la Motte iron Vine Street through the chapel Saint-Aurélien (which is also worth a visit). It owes its name to the many shops of butchers who once existed and who made his reputation and that since the middle ages.

  • After a tour of the market, you stroll along the alleys where you will find lots of small shops. Very lively and picturesque district.

  • Limoges, a little gray on a Saturday in March, it was not very engaging. After visiting the Cathedral, which is great, a little visit in this lively and picturesque area gives an idea of the atmosphere when the beautiful days come back. Not as spectacular as the Bourges city centre, this neighborhood worth but if you have a little time before you.

  • This comment concerns the butcher Street (and not the House) Limoges, a city that is deserves. If one passes by major highways it will see nothing of the small treasures that hides the city. And the street of the butcher part. Very (too?) small, she is adorable. Old house butcher (that no longer serve as such), good small restaurants, small very cute Chapel, paved Street, half-timbered House. This Street must be part of your visit to the centre of limoges. Note in the street: visit a home butcher, stroll to watch storefronts and old peaks has still present meat: D, antique, some very nice restaurants shops (which the renowned amphytryon and tummies), blooshi saint Chapel, and enter small arteries around. You can then pass to the place of the banks or the place of the motte to continue the visit from the city centre
