Set on a Latin-cross ground plan, Cathedrale St-Etienne is an excellent example of a Roman Catholic cathedral designed in the primitive neo-Gothic style. The church’s structure features a bell tower and a large center roof vault. Inside you will find two organs dating from 1930 and 1968 respectively, as well as the traditional Catholic icons and decorations of this region. This cathedral has been the seat of the Bishop of Saint-Etienne since 1970, giving it great regional significance. • This cathedral is definitely worth seeing , next to the Musée des Beaux Arts , close by a little place with several restaurants and a bookshop with more than 50000 antiques books ...
  • Very very nice Cathedral. If visiting this Cathedral, not is can lose the garden botanical just behind, is beautiful, with sculptures in iron very shocking. The truth is that not is that meaning have, but are macabre, are referred to the death or something similar. Very nice to see plants, little tree. Admission is free and is very careful.
