  • Lovely place. Nice staff. You don't need too much time here.
  • How could you not want to visit the home of fizz? Lovely, well preserved abbey on a site dating back to Roman times that is famous for inventing fizzy wine (100 years before becoming prevalent in Champagne). It is said that Don Perignon visited the abbey on a pilgrimage to Spain and learned the technique from the Saint Hilaire monks. A short drive from Carcassonne. Check out the painted ceiling in the Abbot's rooms.
  • Beautiful site, the affordable tour prices. Greeted by an enthusiast who does not hesitate to share his knowledge. The Abbey of located in front of the Café through the village, also very welcoming.
