Les Gets is known as a relaxed set of slopes with beginner and intermediate runs. However, the adventurous will find their beloved off-piste ski routes on a mountain called the "Yeti" located in this area: not just any off-piste skiing, but one of the best powder bowls in Europe. A snow park and runs suitable for kids are nestled here amongst the leisurely adult slopes, making this a perfect location to take a couple ski classes from local instructors.     Les Gets is a smallish charming ski village, with some superb restaurants, excellent skiing and village sponsored activities that should not be missed. Do not miss the musical concert in the village.....  more

    Les Gets is a lovely town, full of charm. The ski area of Portes du Soleil is just great and the connections are very easy. Only 70 mins from Geneva is hard to beat in the summer or winter.
